IATD is an organization that is working closely with ISBE to: 

• Create forums for interaction, communication and discussion with districts of all sizes.

• Make available a pool of human and technical resources that you may draw upon for answers to your questions.

• Provide opportunities for continuous professional development on latest research topics.

• Provide opportunity for Title I Directors to discuss, purpose and input on education issues that impact Illinois Schools.

Attending IATD workshops:

• Stimulates the development of effective and efficient Title I programs.

• Keeps members informed of legislation that would impact Title I students.

• Provides opportunities for directors to access current information concerning rules and regulations, and their interpretations.

• Ultimately will help you and your staff provide high quality service to Title I students throughout the State of Illinois
